This was PERFECTION.

The mutual pining, the sassy commentary, the tidbits from side characters along the way (Eros had me quaking with his "tale of woe"), and just everything in this retelling had me laughing and enjoying every page I turned. This is one of the best versions of Hades and Persephone I've come across.

The artwork is fantastic and engaging, and although not a lot happened story-wise, what was shared in this first volume was pure gold. I cannot wait for future volumes of this masterpiece.
