50 Books!

I cannot believe that it's barely March and I've already read 50 books! My GoodReads goal is 200 books this year, and I'm surprised that I'm 25% completed with that goal already - I'm apparently 14 books ahead of schedule too. I've always been a bit of an overachiever and like making lofty goals to try and strive to reach, so I guess it makes some sense that I'm already here at 50 books, but all the same, it's a great result so far for 2022.

I wouldn't say the books I've read have all been quality reads, though I have been somewhat happy with the majority I've picked up. I'm attempting to be more fair with my ratings this year, and it's showing. I expected to have the most 4 stars, but my 3 stars count is quite high. I'd like to aim to even it out a little more, and pick up more 4 and 5 star reads from here out.

My 50th book was Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim, and it was a 5 star read, so it made it all that more special when I finished it.
